The Church rejoiced and gave thanks to God at the start of the New Year, with a Baptismal Service, conducted by our pastor Revd Michael Child,  for two of the fellowship, Florrie Wiltshire and Brian Cargill. This was held by kind permission of the Minister and Deacons at Braintree Baptist Church, and was followed by a shared tea for both Church fellowships. 

It was with sadness that towards the end of February we had to say goodbye to Brian, as he returned to his homeland of Australia. A presentation and farewell lunch was held for him as we wished him every blessing for this new chapter in his life and assured him of our prayers. 

 

On Valentines Day we shared with two of our members Tim & Jackie West, as they celebrated their forth coming Pearl Wedding Anniversary by renewing their vows and exchanging replacement wedding rings.
